Full text of "The descendants of John Thomson, pioneer Scotch covenanter; genealogical notes on all known descendants of John Thomson, covenanter, of Scotland, Ireland and Pennsylvania, with such biographical sketches as could be obtained from availble published records, or were supplied by the friends of those individuals who were too modest to tell of their own accomplishments". He remained in McMinn County, Tn. for some time and then migrated to other states. He eventually ended up in Benton County, Arkansas as did his daughter Ann who married John Roper Wooten in McMinn County, Tn. in The list of his children's names came from a transcribed posting of his family bible.
